Sarah, Dan, and Toni:

Because I'm feeling awfully lazy and must tend to my English assignment, here's a quick summary of THE SHRINE PLAN!

We need to sketch out the format of the podium/stand/base things. Captain Torrence suggests that we use wood instead of cement, seeing cement is harder to use and clean-up. Oh, and very heavy. I think it would be cool if we stuck with our original plan of a uniform shape to the base, but whatever detailings to match with our shrines.

I'm thinking we sketch, meet together to finalize the design, then find an appropriate day to head to Byng. Torrence is working day ones and twos now, making it much easier for us! He's being real cool about it too, saying whenever we can make it would be fine. And because there's a new principal, more room for crazier possibilities! I'm thinking lights!

How's Sunday for everyone?

Sunday's Word on the Street. I think I'm going with a couple of friends -- and plus, if we meet up, we can totally go pester James and/or my mom.

Since the two of us are pretty much the source of all brain-sucky sched conflicts (high five!) here's my week, free-time wise:

Monday: 3:30-ish to 6:15
Tuesday: Nada. Woe!
Wednesday: 4:30-ish to 6:15
Thursday: Depending whether Phyllis takes it out of my schedule, either anytime after 1:00 or N/A
Friday: 3:00 onwards
Saturday: Work 'til 6:00; good for evening meet-up, though
Sunday: Tutoring, then Word on the Street, then BOOK CLUB, HEY, LOOK, REMINDER! XD

And somehow in there I have to write a 5-6 page essay ... Curse you, Arts One! (Aw, and yet I love it so.)

I don't have class Tuesday, so that would be cool. I know Toni doesn't have classes that day either.
Sounds like a plan, Stan.

No, I mean I don't have any time Tuesday, hence "Woe!". I hate to burst your bubble because you rhymed that last line. Sorry for the lack of clarity!

Fridays and alternate Saturdays?! Nicole Jang, you have been weekend gypped. Are you working this Saturday or next Saturday? I'm working this one. It would suck if we could never meet up on Saturdays! In the evenings I guess ...

So it looks like we BOTH have, not including transport time:

Monday: after 6
Tuesday: after 6
Wednesday: After ... 8? Ew.
Thursday: After 4
Friday: NUTHIN'.
Saturday: After 6
Sunday: Hooray! All day! Or after 11:30 for me.

I think this means we lose.

Sunday can work after all, but no one else is replying.
I worked last weekend, so yeah, it's all yours!

Hahah, I just had a ridiculous thought- I instantly assumed that Sunday was 11:30PM.

But this Sunday is Word on the Street-and-then-Kidsbooks! Could we meet up next Thursday? Or, in the spirit of being technically efficient, scan in/digitally photo/fax (ho ho, so archaic) our designs to everyone?

Also, er, do we know what the "basic design" actually is, as far as the spirit houses go?

I'm wondering where the Dan and Toni replies are.
Thursday after 4 is cool with me.

I agree with your technical effiiciency! And maybe my new post will get the creative juices flowing.
