I will not lj cut to prove the importance, despite the crudeness

I'm not fond of the one with the triangle base, unless we decide to be real interior designers and make the whole thing, including the top bit, like a triangle, and thus "fit" it into a corner. Which would be insane.
(Also: lights? in a hallway lit by white flourescent long-bulbs? I think we should better consider my idea: doilies.)
Mock Greek column would do a bit of culture clashing (except with mine, ho ho ho).
The basic one seems the most aesthetically pleasing, how boring am I. Nevertheless!
Should each podium be the same size, or altered slightly to compliment our shrines' differing sizes?
I'm totally rooting for the boring one; the document just looked so empty, so I thought I would give the plain podium some friends. I'm thinking they should be a uniform size, the part that holds the shrine could be different.
